Q101 NAMES TIM RICHARDS PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Indianapolis – EMMIS Communications today named Tim Richards as Program Director of Chicago’s leading alternative rock station, WKQX, Q101.

In making the announcement, Q101 Vice President/General Manager Chuck DuCoty said, “We’re thrilled that Tim will be joining the Q101 team. He possesses all of the skills and talents needed to take Q101 to the next plateau. He’s the perfect fit for our challenges and we look forward to his return to Chicago.”

Richards, a Chicago native, has most recently served as Program Director of Q95-5 in Detroit. He is a 1991 Columbia College (Chicago) graduate, and has worked at radio stations in Lansing, Michigan; Tucson Arizona; and Boston.

Richards will begin his new duties with Q101 in early November.
