Gehring Named Vice President of Research for Emmis Television
Indianapolis…Emmis Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: EMMS) today announced that Sandi Gehring has been named Vice President of Research for Emmis Television.
As Vice President of Research, Gehring will be responsible for overseeing Emmis Television’s relationship with Nielsen Research, as well as working with the stations to enhance their usage of Nielsen information. She will also work with the stations in developing, implementing and analyzing their strategic and tactical proprietary research.

For the last three years, Gehring has been Manager of Marketing/Brand Development at Frank Magid and Associates. Before that, she was President and General Manager for WTKR-TV in Norfolk. Her prior experience includes marketing and operations management positions at WRC-TV, Washington, D. C.; KTSP-TV, Phoenix; KSTP-TV, Minneapolis; and CNN.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Gehring assumes her new responsibilities on July 5 at Emmis’ Orlando facility.
