Amy Saralegui Named Publisher of Los Angeles Magazine

Indianapolis… Emmis Publishing L.P., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emmis Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: EMMS), today announced that it has hired Amy Saralegui as publisher of Los Angeles magazine. Saralegui, 40, has served as Texas advertising director of Emmis Publishing’s Texas Monthly since 2003.

“During her tenure with Texas Monthly, Amy has proved herself an expert seller and a gifted leader.” said Gary Thoe, president of Emmis Publishing. “We conducted a thorough search for this position, and we were thrilled to find the best candidate among our own ranks. She is a testament to the amazing talent pool at Emmis.”

In addition to overseeing Texas Monthly’s Dallas, Houston and Austin sales offices and sales development, Saralegui’s professional experience includes tenures as associate and interim publisher of Latina magazine and director of retail marketing for Polo Ralph Lauren.
