Emmis Internship Program

Thank you for your interest regarding Emmis Internships. We have internship opportunities in various departments that correspond to the academic calendars for Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. These positions usually last for a period of 12 weeks.

The Emmis Corporation internship program is open to college students attending an accredited college or university. The internship program allows students majoring in the communications or related fields to gain valuable experience and explore potential career opportunities by providing them with training similar to that which would be given in an educational environment. Students in the internship program will complement, rather than displace, the work of paid employees while at the same time providing students with significant educational benefits.

Students are assigned projects that allow them to become familiar with a variety of departments and their role in the company. Students who receive college credit are preferred. If college credit is not available, students may provide documentation from their school stating that the internship is approved and/or sponsored by the school as educationally relevant. The student is responsible for obtaining the necessary paperwork from their school. (This includes evaluation forms and other documents needing to be signed by Emmis Corporation).

All internships are unpaid and there is no entitlement to a paid job at the conclusion of the internship.
