Indianapolis…Emmis Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: EMMS) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a dividend for its 6.25% convertible preferred stock (NASDAQ: EMMSP), with a record date of Oct. 1, 2005, and a payable date of Oct. 15, 2005.
The per share dividend for the quarter is $.78125. One share of Emmis preferred stock is convertible to 1.661 shares of Emmis Class A Common Stock using the conversion price of $30.10 a share.
Also, Emmis announced that EVP/CFO Walter Berger will be presenting at the 35th Annual Banc of America Securities Conference on Monday, Sept. 19, at 3:30 p.m. Pacific, 6:30 p.m. Eastern. An audio stream of the presentation will be available on the Emmis website, www.emmis.com.
