Country Sampler Group publishes Country Sampler and Country Sampler Home Tours which are consumer magazines as well as one trade magazine title, Country Business. The company also supports companion websites to each magazine.
The premier title "Country Sampler" was the original "magalog." It is a combination of editorial features on home decorating and a catalog that showcases handcrafted items in unique room scenes. These items are available for sale directly from the artisans and crafters. One of the most interesting features of the business is that the hundreds of products displayed in each issue are photographed in our 8,000-square-foot studio. Country Sampler is a powerhouse in retail ranking 76th in total dollar volume and 32nd in average dollars per issue on newsstands from thousands of magazines published. The Home Tours edition was spun off Country Sampler as an annual publication mainly available on newsstand.
Country Business is a trade magazine geared toward independent retailers of gifts and home accents. Published seven times a year, it is a source for industry information, business advice, trends and wholesale product. In addition to the print publication, Country Business serves its readers and the larger retail industry through two e-newsletters, email blasts, social media discussion forums, a stand-alone website, seminars and sponsored industry events. |
