The Emmis Communications internship program is open to students attending an accredited academic institution. Allowing students majoring in communications or related fields to gain valuable experience and explore potential career opportunities, internships are available for spring, summer, and fall semesters.
Radio, Publishing, Community Outreach, and Corporate all offer internships, with participating departments in each division including the following:
- Digital
- News
- Production
- Programming
- Promotions
- Sales/Marketing
- Art
- Editorial
- Production
- Special Sections
- Government Affairs
- Cause & Non-Profit Marketing
- Creative Design
The Radio and Publishing division internship opportunities are available in many of Emmis's markets; see the Portfolio page on www.emmis.com for more information.
- Students attending an accredited academic institution
- Minimum 2.0 grade point average
- Letter of recommendation from a university instructor, department chair, counselor, or professor
